N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Public School Board met in regular session Monday and for the final time before school starts this year.

Jamestown Public School Superintendent Robert Lech reports that bus transition that was originally held at Wilson Arena would be moved to the Two Rivers Activity Center (TRAC).

Lech gave thanks to TRAC, University of Jamestown and the Jamestown Parks & Recreation Department for working with the school district to make the transition.

Lech says as far as total busing for all schools go, they will continue to provide route service for them, but would continue to consider cutting routes as necessary.

Lech says better case scenario is they continue providing bus service for all schools. He says aid they receive partially covers transportation and says the district wants to maintain financial responsibility.
