N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – “A light has left this world.”

Krystyl Kimmes addressed the crowd of around 100 Wednesday evening in Nickeus Park. Kimmes and Brandy Watson both put the event together for area residents who followed the tragic story of Savanna LaFontaine-Greywind, a 22 year-old Fargo woman who was found dead Sunday.

Kimmes gave a statement to the crowd from the First Nation Women’s Alliance released after Greywind’s death.

The group then prayed and participated in singing Amazing Grace as their candles provided a shining light to honor Savanna and her family.
