VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- Momentum shifted in the 3rd set and Fargo Davies was able to come back and defeat Valley City in 5 sets 23-25,20-25,25-19,25-23,15-11.

The loss snaps The Hi-Liners 4 match winnings streak and gave them their first EDC defeat. Valley City and Davies both have identical 4-1 conference records.

Five Hi-Liners reached double figures in digs. Kacee White had 29, Reagan Ingstad 27, Cali Halgrimson 16 and Macy Olstad and Lexi Ondracek each with 13. Taryn Dieterle, Lindsay Noeske and Mackenzie Pederson posted 2 blocks each.

On offense Olstad led the way with 14 kills with Pederson adding 11.Ingstad collected 36 assist. The Hi-Liners totaled 13 aces paced by Instad with 5 and Noeske with 4.

Thursday night The Eagles host West Fargo Sheyenne in a 2 points match while The Hi-Liners are in Grand Forks for a 2 point match with Red River.
