Cards Drops First Match Of The Year At Park River 3-1

 

Park River, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)——The Carrington girls volleyball team lost for the first time in the 2017 season falling 3-1 (25-22, 17-25, 17-25, 23-25) in Park River. The Cards trailed 11-5 in the first set but fought back and stole the first set 25-22. Park River controlled sets 2 & 3 with 25-17 victories in both sets. The Aggies jumped out to an early fourth set lead but Carrington made it interesting late in the set before falling 25-23 and losing 3-1. Park River improved to 5-4 overall and Carrington dropped to 3-1 overall.

The Cards will host New Rockford-Sheyenne on Thursday night with the first serve scheduled around 7:00 P.M. and the match will be aired on AM 1600 KDAK and newsdakota.com
