JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Members of the Young Professionals of Jamestown and Jamestown Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors awarded the September Business of the Month award to the Medicine Shoppe.

The business is located at 703 1st Avenue South in Jamestown. Owner John Fuglebuerg and his staff Matt Perkins, Dawn Krawczyk, Char Wegner, Miranda Erickson, Yyvonne Imberg, Karen Sinner and Lori Graves were present for the award announcement.

The business was nominated by an individual who had received a positive experience with the business. Their nomination letter read:

“I use to go to a competitor and stayed there because that’s where I have always been. I decided to shop around and recently switched to The Medicine Shoppe and I can’t believe I didn’t make this move sooner. The first time I went to get a prescription for our son, we found out that the medication was very expensive. A pharmacist from the back had asked a tech to check online for a coupon. This saved us quite a bit of money. We really appreciate the business looking out for their customers! Now we have a unique situation in our family where they have gone above and beyond to help us with this change. The staff is very professional both on the phone and in person. I feel they strive to give the best customer experience by being caring and empathetic. They have top notch customer service and I would recommend them to anyone! You’ve made this gal’s experience a warm and fuzzy one! Thank you, Medicine Shoppe!”

The business was given a plaque and the Business of the Month banner to display for the rest of the month. The award makes the Medicine Shoppe eligible for the Business of the Year award, which will be given during the Chamber of Commerce’s annual banquet in January 2018.
