Jamestown Fire Department Run Report for September 8th – 14th

N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Police Department has released their run report for September 8th through the 14th.

Jamestown Fire Chief Jim Reuther reports that since the beginning of the year, the department has seen 204 total calls for service. In 2016, the department has 290 calls. You can find dates, times and descriptions of each call below:

Call No. 199 September 8th, 2:40PM, ready squad responded to 2501 Circle Drive, NDSH-New Horizon Building, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-unintentional alarm activation. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 30 minutes.

Call No. 200 September 8th, 4:15PM, fire department responded to the area of 414 4th St SW, to a report of a grass fire. Firefighters extinguished the fire and investigated. Cause-under investigation. No injuries reported. Time out 45 minutes.

Call No. 201 September 11th, 5:48PM, ready squad responded to 521 18th St SW, Multi Family Dwelling, to check for carbon monoxide. Firefighters analyzed for carbon monoxide and 18ppm was detected in the utility room. Cause-unknown. Property manager was contacted to have gas equipment inspected. Time out 30 minutes.

Call No. 202 September 12th, 4:32PM, ready squad responded to 319 5th St NE, Lincoln Elementary School, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-faulty detector. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 45 minutes.

Call No. 203 September 13th, 11:57AM, ready squad responded to 2501 Circle Drive, NDSH-New Horizon Building, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-unintentional alarm activation. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 20 minutes.

Call No. 204 September 15th, 5:34AM, ready squad responded to 5855 3rd St SE, Cavendish Farms, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-unknown. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 30 minutes.
