N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – No one was injured after some tires separated from a semi-trailer and struck a van on I-94 near Jamestown Friday.

Sgt. Tom Herzig with the North Dakota Highway patrol reports that Daryl Scobee, 62, of Jamestown was merging with traffic on the eastbound lane of I-94 Friday morning when a set of dual tires separated from the trailer axle. The semi stopped on the eastbound shoulder shortly after.

The tries continued across the median and struck the front of a 2006 cargo van driven by Bakytbek Sheraliev, 50, of Philadelphia, PA. The van slowed and stopped on the westbound exit.

The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
