N.D.  (NewsDakota.com)  Senior Middle Hitter Elizabeth Lyons had a match high 19 kills to help the Broncos of Lisbon defeat the Eagles of Enderlin 3-2 (25-12, 23-25, 22-25, 25-22, 17-15).  Lisbon improves to 5-0 in Region I and 14-3 overall, Enderlin drops to 2-2 in Region I and 12-4 overall.

The Eagles were paced by Sophomore Brooke Christensen with 12 kills, seven aces and 2 stuff blocks, Senior Haley Olson added 12 kills.  Junior Kayla Tingley had eight aces, Enderlin had 18 aces total on the night. Freshman Miah Bartholomay added a spark as well with 10 kills.  For the Broncos, Lyons also had two stuff blocks.  Senior Grace Elijah added 13 kills and two aces.

In the fourth set, Enderlin led 20-10, but Lisbon came storming back to tie it and eventually win by three.  Lyons would get the final point with a kill shot in the fifth and final set.

Next up for Enderlin will be Wyndmere/Lidgerwood on September 26th in Wyndmere.  Next up for Lisbon will be September 26th against Northern Cass in Lisbon.  The next TED FM 98.3 match of the week broadcast will be on Thursday night, Sept. 21st in Tower City, as Maple Valley hosts Lamoure/Litchville/Marion.  Prematch about 6:45pm, first serve at 7pm.
