(NewsDakota.com) – The match was never in any doubt Tuesday night as the Jamestown High volleyball team ran their consecutive sets winning streak to 15 with a 3-0 (25-18, 25-16, 25-16) victory over St. Mary’s.

“I didn’t think we were crisp in anything we did, but we were good enough,” said coach Sara Hegerle.

The Jays got 11 kills from McKayla Kurtz and Courtney Peterson to lead the offensive charge. Megan Gaffaney added 32 assists and 4.5 blocks.

Jamestown (16-1, 5-0) will host Mandan a week from Thursday. The Braves are 6-1 in the WDA and currently second behind the Jays.
