FARGO, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- The Valley City High School boys’ tennis team is playing in their final two weeks of the regular season. They started the week with a match against Davies Tuesday night in Fargo. With severe weather on the horizon the match was moved up an hour and teams were able to get all flights in. VCHS was on the losing end of a 7-2 decision.

After the changes were made to adjust for the forecast coach Matt Nielson says he knew his young team might have some struggles adjusting mentally

 

The Hi-Liners will finish this week with a road match at Shanley Thursday and a double header with Century and Legacy Friday. These next matches will emphasis being ready for the regional tournament

 

Matches in Shanley begin at 4 with the home doubleheader starting at 11am. The EDC Tournament starts October 2nd.
