CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A Wimbledon man has been found guilty of several charges after an incident in June.

Shawn Opsahl, 23, has been charged with two class C Felonies that include Theft of Property and Theft Exceeding between $1,000 and $10,000. He was also charged with Theft exceeding between $500 and $1,000, a Class A Misdemeanor.

Opsahl was apprehended earlier this year in Minnesota after leading officers on a chase in a stolen vehicle.

He has been sentenced to serve 366 days with credit for time served of 145 days. He will be serving out his sentence with the North Dakota Department of Corrections.
