Dorothy Lange, 90, Jamestown, ND died Wednesday morning, November 15, 2017 at the Jamestown Regional Medical Center in Jamestown.

Dorothy Thompson was born December 16, 1926 at Underwood, ND, the daughter of Clifford Thompson and Mae (Casper) Thompson. She received her elementary education and graduated from Underwood High School.

She and Leslie Lange were married June 16, 1946 in Underwood, and soon after moved to Estes Park, CO. They later made their home in Jamestown.

Dorothy was involved with the theater at Jamestown College, taught art to the elderly and she was a part of many singing groups. She was also a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church.

Surviving is one daughter, Diana Lange, Jamestown, ND.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 1 son, John; 2 brothers and 1 sister, Robert, John and Connie.
