VANCOUVER, WASH.(VCSUVikings.com) – Valley City State University junior Grace Miller wrapped up the 2017 cross country season with a 113th place finish Saturday at the NAIA Cross Country Championships in Vancouver, Wash.
Miller tackled the 5K course at Fort Vancouver Historic Site in a time of 19:10, placing 113th out of 338 total runners. Miller was the top finisher from the North Star Athletic Association.
Her time of 19:10 was the third time this season that she has run between 19:02 and 19:10, which are Top 5 times in Viking history.
Up next: Valley City State will begin the track and field season by sending athletes to competitions on Dec. 1-2 in Fremont, Neb., and Brookings, S.D.
