CITY (NewsDakota.com) The 2017 North Dakota State Class 9-Man football teams have been selected, as voted on by the North Dakota High School Coaches Association.

From the area on the First Team Offense, the State Champions from Wyndmere-Lidgerwood had Luke Foerstch and Charlie Moffit named, along with Napolean-Gackle-Streeter’s Jamison Fettig and Nathan Weigel.

Linton/H-M-B’s Lance Weiser and Hankinson’s Race Kath were placed on the First-Team Defense.

Second Team representatives include Wyndmere-Lidgerwood’s Wyatt Harles and Andres Vasquez, Jack Ihry from Finley-Sharon-Hope-Page, Teddy Allmaras and Bo Belquist from New Rockford-Sheyenne, Tyler Long of Napolean-Gackle-Streeter, Tyler Voightman from Oakes and Jack McCrory and Cole Baulmiller from Linton/H-M-B

Moffit was selected as the 9-Man Senior Athlete of the Year, and his coach, the Warbirds Scott Strenge was named Coach of the Year.
