Hi-Liner Gymnastics Finishes 2nd in First Meet of the Season

N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- Valley City High School Gymnastics opened their season Friday at The Fargo Invite. They finished the highest of any school from The EDC placing 2nd. Next up for VCHS is The Valley City Invite Friday.

Jocey Kriewald had the top all around score for The Hi-Liners with 34.25. In the bars she scored 8.675, a team best,with 8.025 in thc beam, 8.600 in the vault and a team high 8.95 in the floor.

Karina Olson scored a 32.575 in the all around. In the vault she scored 8.25, 8.625 in the bars, 7.350 in the beams and 8.35 in the floor.

Britta Roehrich scored 8.325 on the vault, 6.800 on the bars, 8.675 on thc beam and 8.500 on the floor for an all around score of 32.300

Olivia Olson’s 8.775 on the vault was a team high. She also produced a team high 8.700 on the beam with 5.925 on the bars and 8.700 on the floor to combine for an all around score of 32.100.

Abbey Thornton’s all around was 31.450. In the vault she had an 8.00, 8.200 in the bars, 7.400 in the beam and 7.850 in the floor.
