N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – An Edgeley man escaped serious injury after striking several cows with his vehicle on Highway 281 South of Jamestown Sunday evening.

33 year-old Ronald White III was traveling southbound when he struck three cows in the southbound lane. The vehicle came to rest facing south in the northbound lane. Two cows were injured and one was killed. The injured cows were dispatched by the owner.

White was transported by ambulance to the Jamestown Regional Medical Center and treated for non-life threatening injuries sustained in the crash. He was wearing his seat belt.

The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
