VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Authorities responded to several vehicles sliding off I-94 due to slippery road conditions yesterday and today.

A jack knifed semi temporarily blocked the westbound lane ten miles west of Valley City earlier today, no injuries reported.

A multiple vehicle crash happened about 18 miles west of Valley City yesterday. Highway Patrol Captain Bryan Niewind said troopers responded to crashed in Barnes and Stutsman counties.

Niewind has some advice for motorist once road conditions get nasty.

According to a Barnes County dispatcher more than a dozen vehicles were still in the ditch or median along I-94 from Tower City to the Eckelson exit earlier today.
