N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown Police were all over the community helping residents following the major snow that struck the region Monday.

High winds and snowfall caused blizzard conditions in the area, reducing visibility and making travel hazardous. Jamestown Police Chief Scott Edinger says the department responded to 11 accidents through the day, attributing the accidents to the conditions.

Edinger says snow removal leaves some of the roads in an icy state. He encourages drivers to slow down.
