N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Ave Maria Village is continuing to work towards private rooms for residents and kitchen renovations.

Phase One of the ongoing capital campaign project for Ave Maria Village focused on raising around $400,000 for private rooms, a new communication system and kitchen renovations. Development Director Jan Barnes says they’ve raised $300,000 so far.

Barnes says they have one more project before they get to construction of the private rooms.

Kitchen renovations will consist of removing the old wallpaper and applying a fresh coat of paint. After that’s complete, they’ll move to private rooms.

Ave Maria Village will be holding their annual Volunteer Holiday Bazaar on Friday, December 8th from 9 AM to 4 PM. All money raised will go on to their capital campaign.
