JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A group of one time business owners and entrepreneurs will be hosting a business workshop on December 11th at the University of Jamestown.

SCORE is the nation’s largest network of volunteer, expert business mentors with more than 10,000 volunteers in 300 chapters across the U.S. Dave Smette is a volunteer with the Jamestown branch of the organization.

Smette says the group provides their guidance for free and anyone can use it. He says they also put on workshops, such as the one that they’ll be hosting on December 11th at the University of Jamestown.

Topics include Judge Tim Ottmar on Legal Considerations for Small Businesses, Duane Dunn with Schauer & Associates on Taxes Issues for Small Businesses, Lindsey Vogel with Witthauer Financial Group on Insurance for Small Business, and Courteny VanDyke & Tory Hart with Bank Forward on Using Data to improve your business.

The workshop will be provided at no cost starting at 8 AM in the Larson Center.
