N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Salvation Army has continued to seek volunteers, businesses and organizations to ring bells in the community.

Major Tim Nauta says they have had a lot of volunteers and the turnout has been great. They hope to continue that moving into the final weeks of the Red Kettle Campaign fundraiser.

The Salvation Army set their goal in fundraising at $140,000, lower than previous years. There have been some organizations donating and a few matching funds put forward as well. Nauta says if they’re able to keep up their volunteering momentum, they’ll reach the goal with no problem.
