VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- Valley City basketball dropped both games of their conference doubleheader Tuesday night at The HAC. In game 1 the girls fell 77-49, the boys lost game 2 78-43. Both VCHS teams play Fargo North Friday, the girls will be at home with the boys on the road. You can hear the boys game on KOVC and NewsDakota.com starting around 7:30.

Davies 77 vs. Valley City 49

The No.2 ranked Eagles led wire to wire in their 6th win of the year. Davies brought plenty of offensive fire power shooting 53% from the field with 12 3 pointers. Raegan Linster had 7 baskets from long range and finished the game with 34 points.

Valley City had a double double of 11 points and 13 rebounds from Taryn Dieterle. Grace Scherr produced 11 points off the bench. CourtneyLloyd scored 7 points.

BBB: Davies 78 vs. Valley City 43

Braeton Motschenbacher scored the first 10 points of the game for The Eagles, he’d finish the game as the lead scorer with 22 points to extend Davies’ win streak to 8. Mitch Larson joined his teammate in double figures with 10.

Sam Beierle had a season high 10 points to pace The Hi-Liners. Riley Miller scored 8 points with 5 rebounds and 4 assist. Matthew Lyter and Mitchel Taylor each had 7 points.
