N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Parks & Recreation Department has announced that all warming houses at city parks are now open for the season.

The warming houses opened on January 3rd.

“Even though it has been a little chilly lately, the warmer temps before Christmas made making ice for the outdoor rinks difficult,” states Director Doug Hogan. “They are now ready.”

The warming houses are located at Meidinger, McElroy, and Leapaldt parks. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 3:30 AM to 8:00 PM, Saturday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Sunday from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
