VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- Valley City was able to put an end to their 5 game losing streak Friday night. Hosting Fargo North, The Hi-Liners trailed just once while coming away with the 53-46 win.

Three Hi-Liners were in double figures and two recorded double doubles. Taryn Dieterle collected 14 points and 13 rebounds. Lindsey Noeske had 10 points along with 10 boards. Mackenzie Pederson just missed a double double finishing with 10 points and 8 rebounds.

Mary Sem led The Spartans and all scorers with 17 points, she added 15 rebounds. Anna Astrup scored 9.

North drops to 2-6 in The EDC, they play at Shanley Monday. Valley City, now 3-7 in the region, will travel to Grand Forks Central Friday. Coverage starts around 7:15 on KOVC.
