N.D. (NewsDakota.com)—-The Carrington girls basketball team rolled to a 73-28 victory over Barnes County North (BCN) in District 5 action. Bella Hone paced five Cardinal’s in double figures with a game high 15 points. Jill Endres and Emerson Hoornaert added 13 points apiece. McKenzie Johnson added 11 points and Addison Hoornaert finished with 10 points. Hone, coming off the bench scored 8 of her 15 points in the second quarter. The Cards finished the game 9 of 11 from the free throw line and forced BCN into 34 turnovers. The Bison were paced by Tabitha Muncy with 7 points.

The seventh ranked Cardinals improved to 9-3 overall and 3-1 in District 5 play. BCN dropped to 3-8 overall and 1-2 in District 5. The Cardinals will host Central Cass on Friday night. The game will be aired on AM 1600 KDAK and newsdakota.com starting at 6:30 with pregame at 6:15.
