GRAND FORKS, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- Last Friday night at home, The Hi-Liner girls’ basketball team defeated Fargo North 53-46 to snap a 5 game losing streak. This Friday they to head to Grand Forks Central with hopes of building a win streak.

Besides a brief 2 point deficit Valley City held the lead a majority of the time against The Spartans. Through their first 10 games of the season Coach Jimmy Howard felt this was the most complete game The Hi-Liners have played

 

Valley City has already seen the top teams in The EDC and enters a stretch of the schedule where they face the bottom half of the region.The Knights have shown their inexperience after the lost of 8 player from last season’s squad that went 13-14, they are winless at 0-9.

Regardless of the competition’s record Howard says the goal each time they hit the court should be to play their game
