N.D. (NewsDakota.com)——-Bella Hone had a game high 14 points and 10 rebounds to help lead the Carrington girls basketball team to a 63-33 victory over the Central Cass Squirrels. Hone, who comes off the bench, has been the leading scorer for the Cardinals in their last 2 games. Jill Endres added 12 points, 5 rebounds, 3 steals, and 2 blocked shots. Starting for the first time since game 1 of the season, Haley Hewitt scored 9 points, 2 steals, and a game high 4 assists. McKenzie Johnson added 6 points, 7 rebounds, and a game high 6 steals. Kadyn Mehring added 8 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals. Addison Hoornaert hauled in 5 rebounds, 3 steals, and 2 assists. Carrington forced Central Cass into 30 turnovers, picking up a season high 22 steals.

The Squirrels were paced by Madison Sweep with 10 points and 6 points from Carlie Kieffer. The Squirrels dropped to 5-5 overall and the seventh rated Cardinals improved to 10-3.
