FORKS, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Courtney Lloyd scored 14 of her game high 18 points in the second half leading Valley City to a 56-46 win over Grand Forks Central Friday night in Grand Forks.

Taryn Dieterle was also in double figures with 15 points, 12 coming in the second 18 minutes. Both Taryn and Jayden Dieterle had eight rebounds for the Hi-Liners. Lindsey Noeske led the Hi-Liners with nine rebounds off the bench.

Head Coach Jimmie Howard says she has been playing very well lately.

 

Valley City used a 14-5 run midway through the second half to pull away from the Knights.

Howard says it took a while to get the offense going.

 

Cassidy Kuntz led the Knights with 14 points and four assists.

The Hi-Liners are now 4-7 overall and 3-6 in the East Region. They travel to Fargo South next Tuesday.
