N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Ellendale scored the last eight points of the game and outscored LaMoure-Litchville/Marion 17-6 in the fourth quarter for a 46-40 come-from-behind win Friday night in Ellendale.

Austin Molan broke a 40-40 tie with a basket inside with 55 seconds remaining in the game. Molan would tie the game at 40 with two free throws with 1:57 remaining. Then scored the winning basket off a nice assist from Lucas Hofer. Molan led the Cardinals with 17 points. Hunter Thorpe added nine points and a team high seven rebounds.

Shay Ness gave the Loboes the lead 40-38 with a three-pointer with 2:09 remaining, but those were the last points LLM would score. Ness finished with ten points. Jamison Kramer had a team high 11 points and seven rebounds. All of his points came in the first half, nine in the first quarter alone. AleKlever had a game high five assists for LLM.

The win was the sixth in a row for the Cardinals who improve to 9-2. The Loboes fall on to 8-3 on the season.
