CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- The Maple Valley Girls’ Basketball Team won their 5th game of the season and improved to 3-3 in Region 1 with a 55-48 win last Thursday night against Wyndmere/Lidgerwood. The Raider are now 5-8 on the season.

The Raiders came back after trailing 29-25 at the half, they outscored The Warbirds 30-19 in the second half. Sierra Wendt was 6 for the 12 from the field and ended with 16 points. Courtney Hovelson scored 14 points and Madison Olson added 9.

Maple Valley will hit the road Tuesday to face Tri-State in another region tilt. Tip-off is at 7:30 at Fairmount High School.
