JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown High wrestling team has qualified eight wrestlers for this weekend’s state tournament in Fargo. The Jays competed in the West Region tournament this past weekend in Minot.

Ethan Bowman was the highest placing Blue Jay with a 3rd place finish at 120 pounds. Bowman lost in overtime to Minot wrestler Corey Hooker, before winning the third place match.

Noah Braun pulled in a fifth place finish at 145. Talor Huebner and Braden Hatcher placed in sixth place in 113 and 132, respectively.

Johnny Browning at 160, Paul VanDal at 195 and Sam Krebs at 220 all placed seventh. Aaron Mack qualified in the final spot at 170.
