BISMARCK, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The spring light goose season is prepped and ready to open this Saturday in North Dakota.

The North Dakota Game & Fish Department is reporting that those who are participating must have a valid current season or 2018-19 combination license; or a small game, and general game and habitat license. Nonresidents need a 2018 spring light goose conservation order license.

Game & Fish Biologist Doug Leier.

Leier says individuals should take this time to get all their administrative details secured before heading out.

Leier also encourages residents to enjoy the last weeks of ice fishing in the state.

You can catch Doug Leier every Thursday at 7:20 AM on Big Dog 95.5 FM with JD in the Morning.
