ROSHOLT, S.D. (NewsDakota.com) The Lisbon High boys basketball team won their third straight game, and advanced to the Class B Region 1 Tournament quarterfinals after a 68-56 win over Tri-State Tuesday night.

Lisbon (7-14) had an eight point lead at the end of the first quarter, maintaining that margin at half, before seeing Tri-State (14-7) pull to within six to end the third. The hometown Tigers would be unable to fully rally, and saw their season end.

Wyatt Runck lead Lisbon with a game high 26 points. Abel Perry scored 24 points for Tri-State.

The Broncos advance to the Region I Quarterfinals at the North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton Monday, March 5, and will play #3 Maple Valley (16-4). Coverage on Q101.1 FM and NewsDakota.com will start around 7:20 with tip around 7:30 p.m.
