BISMARCK, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown needed to make some big shots to hold off a hard charging Dickinson team in a lost out game from the West Region tournament on Friday afternoon. The Jays held off the rally and won 65-60.

Jamestown lead by 16, 48-32, with six minutes to go and Gabi Jung took over Dickinson pulling them as close as two. She finished with a game-high 24.

Courtney Peterson lead the way with 20 for the Jays. She got off to a hot-start to give Jamestown an early lead.

The Jays will play No. 2-seeded St. Mary’s at 11am in a state qualifier. The Saints lost to Mandan 62-60.
