BISMARCK (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown High girls basketball season ended with a 61-45 loss to No. 2 St. Mary’s. The Saints punched their first state tournament ticket since 1996 and will be the #3-seed in the tournament playing the loser of the East Region championship.

Jamestown fell behind early, 15-2 and the Saints kept them at arms length the rest of the way. Megan Gaffaney, playing her final Blue Jay game, scored 10. Courtney Peterson lead the charge with 13 on 8-8 from the foul line.

The Jays end their season at 14-9.
