FARGO, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- The Jamestown High boys basketball team endured a second straight heartbreaking contest at the State Class A Tournament Friday afternoon.

Down 22 points midway through the second half, the Blue Jays were able to claw back to within a point with under two minutes left. Bismarck St. Mary’s made their free throws down the stretch, ending the Jays season with a 77-68 win.

Cole Gendreau lead the Saints (10-18) with 20 points. Jamestown (12-13) saw Jared Kallenbach match with 20 of his own, after having just four points the previous night.

St. Mary’s advances to Saturday’s Fifth Place game, where they will meet Fargo Shanley.
