A witness says the woman’s vehicle was traveling westbound off of the I-94 exit ramp attempting to make a right hand turn to travel northbound on Highway 281. He says the vehicle began to travel in the wrong lane directly towards him, forcing him to honk to get the drivers attention.

That’s when the vehicle drove over the median and struck the traffic pole located at the Northeast corner of the intersection. No other vehicle was involved.
