Helen was a teacher for the high school and Joseph was a medic in World War II and later a New York City Firefighter.  Kevin attended St. John’s University in New York before heading west to pursue his dream of becoming a cowboy. He spent time in Montana, Colorado and Oregon before eventually settling outside of Page, ND.  He worked in Valley City at the college and had also met Phyllis Miller. They were married and worked with the horses, garden and house in their spare time. Kevin always enjoyed his early morning coffee, the outdoors and took great pleasure in the company of animals – primarily dogs and horses. His most recent dog, Dax, was by his side and able to say, “So long, for now,” to his favorite human.

Kevin is survived by Phyllis, one brother, Gerry, one sister, Carol, and his two children, Kasey and Megan.
