JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Thanks to a large grant received by the Jamestown Arts Center to have activities all summer long at the Arts Park, work has been underway to bring even more activity to the community.

The grant was awarded earlier this year. Executive Director Larry Kopp says they are planning numerous activities for the summer in the park to bring residents and others out.

Jamestown Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Becky Thatcher-Keller says they, along with other Jamestown organizations, will be meeting tonight to discuss the every Thursday events at the park.

The meeting will be 7 PM at the Arts Center and will be focused on different vendors for the Thursday happenings.

The meeting is free and open to anyone.
