VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- The anticipation to play is growing for The Valley City High School baseball team. Like many teams in the state they’ve spend the first four weeks of the season indoors and have lost some games to the early spring snow and cold.

As unplayable days continue to add up the more uncertainty there is in The EDC. Coach Lance Lukes says the conference ADs have been in constant contact to figure out what to do moving forward

Battling cold weather conditions is nothing new for high schools in North Dakota but over the last few springs the season has begun on time. Adjusting to being indoors adds to the already anticipated growing pains this season

So far 3 Eastern Dakota Conference double headers have been rescheduled for The Hi-Liners and with more snow and colder temperatures in the forecast its anyone’s guess as to when game one will be played

Valley City is the host team of this year’s EDC Tournament May 24th- 26th.
