JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Petitions have been turned in and the ballot is solidified for the upcoming June 12th primary for Jamestown City Council candidates and School Board candidates.

For the city of Jamestown, three individuals have their names out for the Mayor seat; Incumbent Katie Andersen, Joshua Meade, and Dwaine Heinrich. For the open city council member seat, David Steele and Kevin Walker will be running.

Lawrence P Kropp is the lone candidate for City Municipal Judge. Three seats are open on the City Park Board. Those running are Chris Aarhus, Mindi Schmitz, Mike Soulis, Mike Landscoot, Ryan Schlafman, and Mitchell Ostlie.

For the Jamestown Public School Board, three city/urban seats and two rural positions are open. Candidates for the three city/urban seats include Heidi Larson, Brenda Roehmmich, Robert Toso and Jason Rohr. For the two rural positions, only incumbent Cedric Trevithick is running. Greg Allen has decided not to run for re-election.

The polling location will be at the Jamestown Civic Center on June 12th.
