VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The spring run-off into Lake Ashtabula will be nothing to worry about this year according to Baldhill Dam Resource Manager Rich Schueneman.

He said this week less than 100 cubic feet per second was being released from the dam and about 2,000 cfs coming into the lake at this time which is down some 7 feet from the normal pool level of 1266 feet.

But he added that the lake has a chance of establishing another late ice out record, some areas still have 36 inches of ice on the lake.
