JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Weather reports show that Spring may have finally arrived in North Dakota.

The Bismarck National Weather Service’s latest forecasts show low to mid-50’s heading into the final week of April.

Meteorologist Patrick Ayd says the elongated winter that struck most of North Dakota could be blamed on a prolonged weather pattern hanging over the area.

Ayd says some gusty winds and potential rain is possible for most of the state heading into May. He says a concern may be some of the drier conditions underneath snow that’s still on the ground.
