JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Alumni, faculty, students and community members helped the University of Jamestown raise over $100,000 for student scholarships during the 32nd Annual Dine & Bid.

The event has been held annually to raise thousands of dollars for students to attend the University. President Polly Peterson says they were excited for their largest turnout ever in the history of the fundraiser.

The theme of the evening was “Knight at the Oscars” with participants wearing their best suits and dresses. 200 students got involved by serving meals, driving individuals home, providing entertainment, and helping load and unload auction items.

The “Raise Your Paddle” was a special part of the night, which Dr. Peterson says raised $80,000 purely for scholarships.

Master of Ceremonies Warren Abrahamson and Casey Stoudt helped lead the evening at the brand new Harold Newman Arena.
