JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown Cty administration and staff are giving some final information a week before City-Wide Cleanup April 30th through May 3rd.

During City-Wide Clean Up, individuals with city residence can place discarded and unwanted items curbside for city crews to collect at no extra charge. No commercial, educational, or religious properties will be picked up.

City Administrator Sarah Hellekson says city administration and sanitation are prepared to answer any questions anyone might have for the clean up.

The City Street Department will begin collecting Monday, April 30th in the Southeast section of the city at 7 AM. Crews will work until that section of the city is completed for the specified day. This will occur for each section of the city.

Hellekson says they would like individuals to make sure the items they want picked up are on the street side curb and not the property.

Hellekson says they will also be returning to alleway garbage collection that week.

Individuals with questions on City-Wide clean up, automated garbage collection or alleyway collection are asked to contact the city at 701-252-5900 or visit jamestownnd.org.
