BEULAH, N.D.  (NewsDakota.com) The Miners and the Cardinals were scoreless through four winnings in the scheduled five inning game. The Cardinals would score first in the top of the fifth inning when Seth Nelson scored on a throwing error by the Beulah catcher.  In the bottom of the fifth, Senior Derek Ferebee hit a lead-off single, then Korey Rueb knocked him in on a single to tie the game, after the next batter struck out against reliever Drew Page, Brayden Moore hit a hard fly ball over the center fielders head to score Rueb for the game winner in the bottom of the fifth inning. Beulah improves to 3-1 overall, Carrington is now 0-1.

Mason Dolbec  was the third pitcher of the game for the Miners and picked up the win on the mound, Mikey Morris started and Derek Ferebee also worked an inning. Page was the losing pitcher, starting pitcher Lucas Geiszler worked four innings for the Cardinals.
