JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown and the surrounding area was left reeling when it was learned that the life of Nicole Gututala-Hoff had been taken when her ex-husband killed her May 12th.
Her death and Kevin Michael Hoff’s arrest has left their two children without parents. A GoFundMe created by Talima Gututala of Hawaii is raising money to bring Nicole and her children home.
“Nicole’s murder is emotionally devastating, especially knowing that Nicole had a big day planned with her children for Mother’s Day,” the page states. “Anything that you can donate to help bring Nicole back and laid to rest will be greatly appreciated. Aloha, and love to you all.”
According to the page, Eddy Funeral Home will be preparing Nicole for her return to Hawaii. For that and burial costs, the GoFundMe is raising $11,195 to bring her body back to Hawaii.
As of Wednesday evening, 171 people had donated a total of $9,534.
