Delores Wagner, 91, of Jamestown, ND, died Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Elim Care Center, Fargo, ND.
Delores Irene Kupper was born January 25, 1927, at Mandan, ND, the first child of George Kupper II and Eva (Brazda) Kupper. She was a graduate of St. John’s Academy in 1945. Deolres was united in marriage to Bernard Wagner on June 19, 1946 at St. James Basilica. They built a home north of Eldridge where they raised ten children. Delores taught school at Sinclair #3, Eldridge #2, and CCD at St. John’s Academy. She was a member of St. James Basilica, the Tabernacle Society, a life member of the National Catholic Society of Forester and President of St. Mary’s Ct #31. Delores served as a contact person for the Fargo Cancer Association in Jamestown and help with the first Smoke Out. Delores was also a member of the Homemakers Council of Stutsman County, Prairie Homemakers, Buchanan Homemakers, and the Eldridge Study and Social. She and Bernard enjoyed traveling and spent 22 years wintering in Arizona.
Delores is survived by ten children, David, Colorado Springs, CO; Dennis (Tam), Fargo, ND; Timothy (Cindy), Sidney, MT; Marianne Minyard, Canyon Lake, TX; Mark (Sandy), Jamestown, ND; Angeline (Tom) Koenig, Lawrence, KS; Ronald (Pam), Nashville, TN; Karla (Larry) Bucholz, DeBary, FL; Nola (Larry) Hilde, Ada, MN; Jon Ramon (Sue), Fargo, ND; 30 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; sister-in-law, Karen Kupper, Albuquerque, NM; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Barnard on January 31, 2014; sisters, Fay Domek and Gloria Kupper; brother, George Kupper III; an infant daughter, Bernadette.
Mass of Christian Burial: 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 25, 2018 at St. James Basilica, Jamestown with Father John Aertz officiating.
Visitation: 1:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Williams Funeral Home, Jamestown.
Rosary: 7:30 p.m., Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Williams Funeral Home, Jamestown, with a Prayer Service to follow.
Interment: Calvary Cemetery, Jamestown.
