JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Stutsman County Livestock Committee will be holding a multi-species showmanship clinic for anyone interested in showing during the county fair season.

Committee Member Denise Walton says they wanted to put together the multi-species clinic to give 4-Hers of all ages a boost in their showmanship skills for different animals.

Walton says speakers will come to give tips and presentations on animals from pigs, sheep, goats, horse, cattle, dairy, chickens and dogs. Walton says the response for previous showmanship clinics has been great.

Walton says Stutsman County has had multiple individuals take top showman in previous years at the state fair.

The free event will be May 30th at the Stutsman County Fairgrounds. There will be four sessions, two in the morning and two in the afternoon. For more information or for any questions, contact Denise Walton at 701-580-2842 or the Stutsman County Extension Office at 701-252-9030.
